Roll Formers

The Berridge Model SS-14 Portable Roll-Former forms continuous-length, eave-to-ridge straight Berridge Tee-Panels, and by hand-adjusting the last roll, also forms Curved Tee-Panels. The Berridge Model SS-14 Portable Roll Former also curves the factory-formed seam caps. Individual factory formed Tee-Clips are used with straight panels and 28-gauge Folding Tee-Clips are used with curved panels.

A single-leg machine, designed to form the Tapered Tee-Panel or Tapered High Seam Tee-Panel using coil widths up to 23-7/8”. After one leg is formed, the pan is cut to the desired tapered shape, then the second leg is formed by running the panel back through the roll former. The resulting Tapered Tee-Panels are used for conical shaped roofs.

The Berridge Model SL-1 Portable Roll-Former is a single-leg machine, specifically designed to form compound curved Tee-Panels on the corners of curved Tee-Panel roofs or for domes from “free-form” shapes of any width. First, the “free-form” shape for each individual compound curved panel is cut according to precise variable width dimensions. Next, each leg is formed one at a time on the SL-1. Finally, the compound curved-edge panels are hand-curved over the compound curved corners, dome, or barrel roof with solid substrate. The SL-1 does NOT curve the panels or seam caps. Seam caps are factory-formed and curved on the job site using a Seam Curver or SS-14 portable roll former.

The Berridge Model SS-1421 Portable Roll-Former forms continuous-length, eave-to-ridge straight Berridge High Seam Tee-Panels, and by hand-adjusting the last roll, also forms Curved High Seam Tee-Panel. The Model SS-1421 Portable Roll Former also curves the factory-formed seam caps. Individual factory formed Tee-Clips are used with straight panels and Folding Tee-Clips are used with curved panels. Berridge High Seam Tee-Panel is standard with striations to help minimize waviness, but is also available smooth. Standard seam height is 1-1/2”. For a 1” seam height, use 19-3/8” coil. When using a 1” seam height, the following minimum radii apply — convex: 5’, concave: 8’.

The Berridge Model TP-24 Portable Roll Former forms continuous-length Berridge Tee-Lock Panels. The Tee-Lock panel is the newest panel among the standing seam options and offers a 2 3/8" high symmetrical standing seam with 18" coverage. Tee-Lock panels are available smooth or with striations designed to minimize the appearance of waviness or “oil-canning”.

The Berridge Model CL-21 Portable Roll-Former forms continuous-length, eave-to-ridge straight Berridge Cee-Lock Panels. Berridge Cee-Lock panels have an integrated snap-lock seam with an optional patented vinyl weatherseal that can be applied into the female leg during the roll forming process. Cee-Lock panels are available smooth or with striations designed to minimize the appearance of waviness, or “oil-canning”. Use individual factory formed Cee-Clips or Continuous Cee-Ribs over solid sheathing.

The Berridge Model CL-16 Portable Roll Former forms continuous-length Berridge Cee-Lock (11 1/2”) Panels.  Berridge Cee-Lock panels have an integrated snap-lock seam with an optional patented vinyl weatherseal that can be applied during the roll forming process.  The 11 1/2" Cee-Lock panels are only available in a smooth finish. Use individual factory formed Cee-Lock Clips or Continuous Cee-Ribs over solid sheathing.

The Berridge Model SP-21X Portable Roll-Former forms the Zee-Lock Structural Standing Seam Panel. This panel is suitable for installation over solid sheathing or open framing (up to 5’0” spacing) and offers UL, FM, ASTM and other wind uplift ratings. Zee-Lock is a mechanically-seamed single-lock panel (90° seam), with optional double-lock (180° seam) capability. For a batten appearance, a snap-on batten option is available. Berridge Zee-Lock can be site-curved using the ZC-21 Curver.

The Berridge Model ZC-21 Portable Roll Former curves Berridge Zee-Lock Panels to a minimum convex radius of 20’. The ZC-21 also has the capability of curving both 2” and 3” Zee-Ribs. The ZC-21 may be used separately or in tandem with the SP-21X Berridge Zee-Lock Roll Former. As shown above, Berridge provides a connection kit for using the ZC-21 Curver in tandem with the SP-21X to ensure correct panel alignment. This unique machine enables the roofing contractor to curve long-length Berridge Zee-Lock Panels at the job site to fit radius curved roofs perfectly. Berridge will factory set the curver for the radius of the project. For projects requiring multiple radii, the curver must be returned to Seguin, TX. The Berridge Model TZ-21 Portable Roll Former forms Tapered Zee-Lock Panels in a double pass. First roll the female leg side of the panel. Then shear your template, flip, and roll the male leg of the tapered panel. The TZ-21 roll former can form Tapered Zee-Lock panels in lengths ranging from 4′ up to 200′. The panel width at the eave can be a maximum of 16″, while the panel width at the ridge can be a minimum of 4″. This unique machine enables the roofing contractor to form long-length Berridge Tapered Zee-Lock Panels at the job site to fit conical roofs. The Berridge Model BP-21 Portable Roll-Former forms continuous-length, eave-to-ridge straight, structural Deep-Vee panels for the Batten Seam System. Snap-on Batten Caps are then snapped on to Batten Clips which are fastened to each Deep-Vee panel rib, typically at 20” O.C. For UL90 ratings and to allow for thermal expansion on longer panels, use Batten Seam Inner Ribs and Expansion Clips.

The Berridge Model BP-14 Portable Roll-Former forms the Berridge Bermuda Roof Panel, a horizontal, continuous-length panel with an 11” exposure and a 1” thick panel profile. An optional, patented vinyl weatherseal is mechanically applied to the male leg of the panel during the roll-forming process.

The Berridge Model FP-16 Portable Roll-Former makes the Berridge L- Panel. This panel may be used for fascia, soffit and ceilings. The L-Panel standard configuration is with 2 grooves but is also available smooth with no grooves. Two rows of venting are optional.

The Berridge Model TL-6 Portable Roll-Former forms the Berridge Thin-Line Panel in continuous lengths with a 3-5/8” exposure and a 3/8” profile height. The Thin-Line Panel is used for walls, ceilings, soffits and fascia applications.

The Berridge Batch Control Computer is a state-of-the-art, easy to program controller for roll forming machines. Multiple groups of panels of different lengths and quantities can be quickly entered into the computer at one time. The computer accurately stops the rollformer when the programmed length is reached and keeps track of the quantity of panels being produced, improving both the speed and accuracy of production. An easy to read display keeps the operator informed of the panel length currently being produced and the number of panels remaining in the batch.
