Warranties

WATERTIGHTNESS WARRANTIES

Berridge offers Watertightness Warranties on approved roof assemblies. Watertightness Warranties are available in 20YR, 15YR, 10YR, 5YR, 2YR, & NDL terms. Berridge Watertightness Warranties are issued upon successful completion of the following requirements:

  • Submission & acceptance of watertightness warranty application
  • Approval of installer roof installation details
  • Inspection & approval of roof installation
  • Payment in full of all material invoices
  • No warranty is issued unless requested by the customer within one year of material invoice date
  • All warranty program requirements must be met before issuance
  • Review watertightness warranty FAQ’s for additional information such as warrantable systems, minimum slopes, approved underlayments and sealants

PAINT FINISH WARRANTY

Berridge offers a 40-year finish warranty for the Kynar 500® or Hylar 5000® PVDF resin-based coatings which it applies on its continuous coil coating line. Berridge finish warranties are issued upon successful completion of the following requirements:

  • Submission & acceptance of paint finish warranty application
  • Payment in full of all material invoices
  • No warranty is issued unless requested by the customer within one year of material invoice date


GALVALUME MATERIAL WARRANTY

Berridge offers a 40-year material warranty for Prepainted Galvalume and a 45-year material warranty for Acrylic-Coated Galvalume. Warranties are issued upon written request and upon successful completion of the following requirements:

  • Submission & acceptance of material warranty application
  • Payment in full of all material invoices
  • No warranty is issued unless requested by the customer within one year of material invoice date

 


2-YEAR INSTALLER’S WARRANTY

Berridge requires installers to guaranty their work for 2-years for all watertightness warranty projects:

  • Included with all watertightness warranties
  • 2-Year warranty is standard with most industry watertightness warranties
  • Required by manufacturer to ensure correct installation
  • Any leaks in the first two years are repaired by the installer
