About Embry Riddle Aeronautical University Athletic Annex
The Embry Riddle Aeronautical University Athletic Annex in Daytona Beach, Florida, was built in response to the University’s growing need to host more visiting teams in the Women’s Softball Athletics Program. Hall and Ogle Architects designed the exterior of the Embry Riddle Athletic Annex with Berridge “Award Blue” as it came to a near perfect match for one of the University’s standard colors.
Berridge Manufacturing Co. furnished 5,821 sq. ft. of roofing material for the Athletic Annex. According to David Ogle with Hall and Ogle Architects, “the Berridge Double-Lock Zee-Lock panels were selected for a number of reasons. The 2” high seams, mechanically double locked side-laps and striated profile were very desirable and appropriate for this project.” The Athletic Annex also included rolled panels on the entry canopy.
The 11,500 square foot facility features media and press box suites, as well as offices and state of the art locker rooms. The project was complete in 2014.
