Shortly after being founded in 1975, Metal Systems Inc.began using Berridge aluminum shake shingles on convenience store mansard facades. Since then, the company has evolved into a specialty contracting firm, offering a broad range of products including composite panels, translucent wall panels, skylite systems, carport structures, light gage framing and other cladding and framing products.
When Berridge Manufacturing Company expanded its ranges of products and services to include site forming equipment and premium coil material, Metal Systems acquired a Berridge Model SS-14 portable roll former which forms continuous-length straight or radiused standing seam roof panels. This enabled them to become a full-service architectural fabricator-installer.
