誰eill Conrad Oppelt Architects was founded by Larry O誰eill (now retired) in 1969. Ten years later Mickey Conrad and Mark
Oppelt who are now the firm痴 principals joined the firm and in 1984
the practice was renamed as O誰eill Conrad Oppelt Architects, Inc (OCO) In
describing the guiding principles of the firm, Mickey Conrad states: "We池e
a regionally sensitive design firm with sensible architectural solutions."
OCO clients include local government, institutional and education entities These extended relationships have resulted in steady growth and a reputation in the construction industry that has afforded its clients with well designed and constructed functional projects where completion on time and within budget is a priority. The demand for quality in both design and construction has also resulted in over 20 design awards by their peers throughout the life of the firm.
OCO has a qualified in-house staff to provide: Bond Issue Planning, Programming and Feasibility Studies, Site and Master Planning, Architectural Design and Documentation, Cost Estimating & Budget Analysis and Construction Administration & Project Closeout.
OCO specifies metal roof and siding products where appropriate and Mickey Conrad notes: "We find that Berridge details are extremely helpful and readily accessible through the Berridge website. We particularly like the wide range of metallic colors Berridge offers, as they fit in well with the regionally-sensitive designs that our clients prefer."
The San Antonio Fire Training Academy which is pictured in this article, for instance, uses Berridge Cee-Lock Standing Seam panels, prefinished with "Lead-Cote" metallic paint finish.
OCO recently announced plans to build new offices to accommodate their rapid growth and enlarged staff. They have entered into a real estate partnership with another local architectural firm to construct the new "So-Flo Architectural Offices". The new 13,000 square foot office complex facility will feature Berridge S-Deck corrugated Galvalume siding and roofing.
