Miller Sheet Metal:
A  Family Tradition of Excellence
in Craftsmanship and Integrity

Three Generations of the Miller Family make up the Miller Sheet Metal Managment Team: Seated: Priscilla Rabizant, Admin; Standing, left to right: Bryan Miller, Jr., Military Sheet Metal; Virginia Elder, Vice President; and Bryan Miller, President.

Miller Sheet Metal was incorporated in 1997 in Rowlett,Texas as a family-owned and operated business by Bryan Miller. Bryan's thirty years of experience in roofing and metal building construction enabled the new company to very quickly establish a reputation for quality and competitive pricing on projects in the Dallas - Fort Worth metroplex area involving standing seam metal roofing, canopies gutters, flashing and trim. As the business grew, other family members were brought into the company to fill key positions. Virginia Elder, who has a degree in accounting, joined the firm in 2004 and is now vice president in charge of project management, estimating and sales. Three years later Bryan Miller Jr. was brought in to oversee Military Sheet Metal, a sister company whose primary emphasis is custom fabrication of heavy gauge special framing members using copper, aluminum, stainless steel and other materials.

The use of standing seam metal roofing on large educational, municipal and other projects prompted Miller Sheet Metal to engage in using portable roll forming equipment to fabricate their own panels in precise, continuous lengths. In 2002 the company began to rent or lease Berridge roll forming machines, and when production volume increased, they began to purchase their own machines. Today, Miller Sheet Metal owns four Berridge portable rollformers: three machines which form standing seam roof profiles and one which fabricates soffit and siding panels. The advantage of owning their own portable roll formers and working with Berridge who serves as a single-source supplier for prefinished steel coil, flat sheet and all required roof accessories gives Miller Sheet Metal a decisive competitive advantage in their market. As vice president Virginia Elder explains, "Our Berridge roll forming equipment gives us complete control -- we can run continuous long-length panels up to and beyond 100' feet when required -- and to exact lengths."

Miller Sheet Metal's sheet metal shop is equipped with two autobrake folding machines and a ten foot shear which enables them to manufacture all required gutters, downspouts, trim and flashing from matching Berridge flat stock material to complete the project.

Today, Miller Sheet Metal has ten field crews, with approximately forty experienced roofing and sheet metal installation personnel, and a full complement of trucks, boom lifts and other essential equipment. The company serves the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, central Texas and has completed jobs in Oklahoma.

During the past five years alone, Miller Sheet Metal has completed more than 1,000,000 square feet of standing seam metal roofs for area schools, healthcare and commercial facilities.
