Brinkmann Roofing Company has been active in commercial and residential roofing since the company was founded in 1971 by Mike Brinkmann. Since that time, Brinkmann Roofing has grown to be the largest residential roofing company in the state of Texas and the eighteenth largest in the nation. The fastest growing segment of Brinkmann’s commerical roofing market is metal roofing.

In 1998, BRC Sheet Metal, a sister company of Brinkmann Roofing was established by Mike Brinkmann, J.C. Haigh and Gene Lessman -- a strategic move which brought more than forty years of combined metal experience together. Over the past four and a half years, BRC sales have doubled each year and this growth trend is expected to accelerate when BRC partners with roofing companies throughout Texas to market metal roofing products during the next year.

Gene Lessman, Vice President of BRC Sheet Metal division of Brinkmann Roofing identified two main factors in the rapid growth of sales of Berridge Metal Roofing products: Quality and Service. Regarding Berridge’s ability to offer continuous-length standing seampanels with no endlaps, Lessman states: "...the ability to form unlimited length panels with no endlaps puts us out front of our competition: we recently completed a job which had 112’ long panels!"

BRC Sheet Metal division of Brinkmann Roofing Company operates its own sheet metal shop which is equipped with a computer-driven Schectel Brake and Shear as well as several other brake machines, spot welders, shears, slitters and Pexto crimping machines. The company currently owns a Berridge Model SS-14 Portable Roll Former and leases other models as needed.

Based on Brinkmann Roofing’s aggressive marketing plans and uncompromising committment to customer service, BRC Sheet Metal will be in the topmost echelon of Texas’ metal roofing companies within the next two years.
