When Ken Anderson went to work for the new architectural firm Terradevco in 1973, the main thoroughfare leading into The Woodlands, Texas was a dirt road. Ken’s first job as an Intern Architect/Draftsman was to prepare construction documents for the first buildings to be built in the new wooded community which is located thirty miles North of Houston, Texas. In the thirty-two years that have followed Ken Anderson has formed his own "Woodlands Friendly" firm, following the local motto: "Live, Work and Play in The Woodlands".

Now celebrating their twenty-fifth Silver Anniversary, Ken Anderson & Associates, Inc. is a full service architectural firm with project experience encompassing Parks, Medical Facilities, Churches, Commercial, Multi-Family, Offices, Retail, Restaurants, and more. Eighty percent of Anderson’s work is in The Woodlands and the firm is recognized as the premier architectural firm in the area. Ken Anderson describes his firm as a very "hands-on" company and as principal he still works directly with the client, including preparation of drawings.

In describing his work with metal roofing in general and Berridge metal roofing products in particular, Ken notes: "Berridge metal roofing is everywhere you look in The Woodlands -- We’ve built dozens of park shelters and other structures and ninety percent of them have Berridge roofs." The Windsor Lake Community Center featured in this article utilized Berridge’s Cee-Lock Standing Seam roof system. Several other Ken Anderson & Associates projects are also shown.
