Berridge Manufacturing Company addresses itself primarily
to the architects. Berridge founder Jack Berridge graduated from California
Polytechnic Institute in 1959 with a degree in Architectural Engineering. He
first went to work for a major aluminum products manufacturer where he designed
many original metal panel styles still in use today.
Berridge Manufacturing Company originated in Houston, Texas in 1970. Major
innovations, including the patented vinyl weather seal, cost effective portable
roll formers and specialization in curved panel applications have vaulted
Berridge into a major national manufacturer, with 35 panel styles in 31 standard
colors and six national distribution centers.
BMC maintains a technical department in Houston, Texas, which includes
Architecture, Engineering, Shop Drawing and Watertightness Warranty Departments.
Two registered architects are on staff to serve architects nationally via phone,
fax and email. They provide orientation to roof and wall panel style selection,
review details and specifications, and present metal roofing seminars, as an AIA/CES
Nation Provider with HSW certification.
